The New York Knicks to sign PG Baron Davis and other NBA transactions and rumors
The New York Knicks will reportedly sign PG Baron Davis, Davis was recently waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers via the amnesty clause. No surprise here, Davis still has a good couple years in him. Carlos Arroyo is still available and is interested in becoming a New York Knick. The Los Angeles Lakers signed Troy Murphy to a contract. The Houston Rockets signed their 2nd round draft pick Chandler Parsons. The Indiana Pacers will trade guard Brandon Rush to the Golden State Warriors for forward Louis Amundson. Recently waived New Jersey Net Travis Outlaw has been claimed off amnesty waivers by the Sacramento Kings. Nick Young is expected to sign a one-year $3.7 million qualifying offer with the Washington Wizards. The Xinjiang Flying Tigers are possibly looking into waiving star forward Kenyon Martin due to their slow start in the Chinese Basketball Association. Even if Martin is waived, before he can return to the NBA, a FIBA clearance letter would be needed from his CBA team. Sanctions could be held against Xingiang if they go ahead with the process.
