NBA TV Top 10: February 22nd
I remember watching Araujo tear it up at BYU thinking that this guy could play tight end for the Oakland Raiders. He kind of reminded me of Tony Gonzalez when he played basketball at UC Berkeley but less athletic. He produced some good numbers during his 2 year stay at BYU, his first 2 years he played at Division II Arizona Western College which was the same college attended by Nate “Tiny” Archibald. Transferring to BYU for his Junior and Senior seasons is where his college career took off, his junior year he averaged a meager 12 points and 9 rebounds a game, however his Senior year he averaged a double double with 18.4 ppg and 10.1 rpg good enough to earn him Co-Player of the Year in the Mountain West Conference.
